Charter internet service is a decent price however it constantly is going down. The technicians have been out to fix it four times in the past month and each time they get progressively more rude. The connection is fast, when it’s actually working, but the frustration this has caused me isn’t worth it. The billing department took some money off my bill the first time this occurred but subsequent times they were more unwilling to do this for me. I would not recommend Charter services.

I had DISH Network for over a year, downsizing to the local channels after my monthly bill went from $60.00 to $80.00. I wanted to get out of my contract with DISH but didn’t want to pay the cancellation fee of $15.00 for each month cancelled. However, while talking to a DIRECTV rep I learned that DIRECTV would pay the cancellation fee if I signed up with them for one year, which I did. However, DISH, to this day, refuses to send me a bill or statement specifying the amount of the cancellation fee, which, in my case, was $162.60, which amount I was told during two different telecons with DISH reps. However, DIRECTV has agreed to pay the fee.

They have been a fairly good provider. The quality of the actual product is awesome! We have HD channels and the picture is always clear. The satellite normally picks up a good signal unless it’s raining or bad weather, but of course that’s all satellites. As for the customer service, it sucks. They take forever to get someone on the line and once you do have someone on the line they don’t ever understand what you are saying. It takes forever to get someone to come out and look at the receiver or satellite if something is wrong with it.
